  Site is accessed by a coded security gate. Upon entering one could be forgiven for thinking they had arrived at a travellers site, quite a few of the units have been there some time and I guess are a permanent feature. We were given a pitch at the back of the site overlooking quite a pleasant field. Facilities were OK, BUT PLEASE BE WARNED. Around 4pm the sites more permanent residents arrive in vans of all shapes and sizes. These appear to be contractors working in the area who inhabit the units nearer the entrance. They are quiet and friendly, but it is then that the sites limited facilities fall down, by about 6pm the toilet block looks like a tornado has hit it after approximately 30-40 workmen have been through it. The result is toilet paper everywhere, fouled toilets, empty bottles of shower gel on the floor, muddy footprints everywhere and the toilet block is not cleaned until mid-morning the next day. Also be warned the site is situated directly under the approach to Gatwick Airport and there is considerable noise from the aircraft from about 5am until around midnight with the occasional aircraft between midnight and 5am, so not for the light sleeper CONCLUSION An ideal site for the hard of hearing with their own facilities
